An experienced Casual Cashier is needed for Dis-Chem Pharmacies’ store in Springfield Centre.to assist point-of-sale customer service while assuring a top-notch shopping experience. With zero tolerance for errors and the removal of fraud risk, record customer transactions on the Dis-Chem operating system in accordance with corporate policies and standard operating procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

-Grade 12 / Matric

-Experience with cashier/till operations of at least six months

-Knowledgeable with MS Office

-Sound numerical skills

-High level of proficiency in the English language

-Basic customer service

-Able and willing to work retail hours

Duties:

-Observe the customer service guidelines set forth by Dis-Chem

-Establish a professional relationship with customers

-Inform store management or the frontline supervisor of client concerns and compliments.

-Follow the hourly customer turnover rate

-Make sure clients and coworkers are not put in danger.

-Carry out and manage Dis-Chem 5 star communication principles

-Make sure the supervisor approves and signs off on any line voids and price changes.

-When permitted, accept returned goods from customers and exchange merchandise for customers.

-Execute all transactions, including all payments (cash, bank cards, vouchers, coupons, and other forms of payment) that Dis-Chem accepts.

-Ensure usage of your code and password is restricted to only you; is safe, and is changed regularly
