Overview:

Eskom Holdings Limited is inviting applications for the University of Technology Bursary Scheme, aimed at supporting aspiring engineers pursuing diplomas in Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current and Light Current), Mechanical Engineering, and Chemical Engineering. This initiative is a part of Eskom’s commitment to nurturing talent and fostering the development of skilled professionals within the engineering sector.

Minimum Requirements:

-South African Citizenship

-Matriculated in 2023

-Conditional acceptance from a University of Technology to pursue a diploma in engineering

-Not holding any other bursary or enrolled at any tertiary institution

Selection Criteria:

2023 Final Grade 12 results with a minimum of:

-English Level 4

-Pure Mathematics Level 4

-Physical Science Level 4

Conditional acceptance from University of Technology to study:

-Diploma Chemical Engineering

-Diploma Electrical Engineering Light current

-Diploma Electrical Engineering Heavy current

-Diploma Mechanical Engineering

Key Responsibilities:
As a University of Technology Bursar at Eskom, you will:

-Pursue and successfully complete the designated diploma in your chosen engineering field.

-Adhere to the conditions set by Eskom and the University of Technology for the bursary program.

-Maintain open communication with Eskom’s Human Resources Department regarding your progress and any changes in your circumstances.

-Uphold Eskom’s values and principles while representing the organization within the academic community.

-Provide regular reports on your academic progress and achievements.
