Position Details:
This role combines hands-on training with classroom instruction, with theoretical learning facilitated by the Imperial Technical Training Academy (ITTA). As an apprentice, you’ll work under the guidance of a Qualified Motor Vehicle Mechanic within Haval’s Service Department.
Key Responsibilities:
-Engage in a CBMT contract with merSETA and a learnership contract with Lindsay Saker Kempton Park.
-Adhere to MIBCO minimum wages for CBMT Apprentices.
-Undertake a comprehensive 4-year training program spanning levels 1-4, incorporating both practical and theoretical elements.
-Embrace a distance learning approach through CDX, featuring computer-based and practical competency testing.
-Gain on-the-job experience within the Haval Service department, aligning with CBMT program competence levels.
Qualifications:
Applicants must fulfill the following criteria:
-Attain a Matric (N2 with Mathematics, Engineering Science, and English at 50%).
-Possess a valid driver’s license.
-Demonstrate computer literacy.
-Successfully pass a mechanical insight test.
-Undergo standard background checks and a fitness-for-work medical assessment.
-Successfully complete a Psychometric assessment and a face-to-face interview for shortlisted candidates.
