Description

Motus Isuzu Zambezi in Pretoria is offering an Accredited Competency-Based Modular Training (CBMT) Apprenticeship, blending on-the-job training and classroom instruction supervised by a Qualified Motor Vehicle Mechanic. The theoretical component is provided by Imperial Technical Training Academy (ITTA) in Johannesburg.

Responsibilities

-CBMT contract with merSETA and a learnership contract with Motus Isuzu Multi Franchise Zambezi.

-MIBCO minimum wages apply for CBMT Apprentice.

-Training program spans Levels 1-4 with a 4-year contract.

-5 days of training in 5 weeks at ITTA.

-Distance learning program (CDX) for enhanced apprentice training.

-Computer-based testing and examination.

-Practical competency testing.

-On-the-job experience at Motus Isuzu Bloemfontein Service department.

-Gathering evidence for a portfolio as required by ITTA.

-Working alongside a technician to learn service maintenance and repairs.

Qualifications and Experience

-Matric (Grade 12)

-(N2 with Mathematics, Engineering Science, and English with a minimum of 50%).

-Driver’s license.

-Computer literacy.

-Successful completion of a mechanical insight test.

-Standard background checks and a medical assessment for fitness for work.

-Psychometric assessment and a face-to-face interview.
