We are launching a 6-month Basic Metals Production Skills Learnership Program, meticulously designed to provide comprehensive training and practical experience to aspiring professionals.

As a participant in the learnership program, you will gain invaluable knowledge and skills through a combination of theoretical learning and hands-on training. Under the guidance of experienced mentors, you will be exposed to various aspects of the metals production process, including ore extraction, refining, smelting, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in classroom-based learning sessions and practical training exercises.
• Gain practical experience by working closely with experienced professionals in different departments.
• Develop a solid understanding of the metals production process, including ore extraction, refining, smelting, and quality control.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum educational qualification: Grade 12 certificate (Matric) or N3 with Mathematics and Physical Science passed with a minimum of 60%.
• Must be a South African citizen.
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in the metals production industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Physical fitness and ability to work in a challenging and demanding environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
• Safety-conscious mindset.
