Responsibilities:
Plant & Equipment: Ensure safety equipment functionality, tool availability, and maintain a clean environment.
Plant Operation: Operate machinery according to manuals and safety guidelines.
Administration: Communicate effectively on production schedules. Adhere to ISO, CIE & 5S Systems.
Maintenance & Inspection: Assist in plant preparation for maintenance and participate in repairs.
Quality Checks: Conduct thorough inspections of manufactured products.
Housekeeping: Uphold high standards of cleanliness within the production area.
Reporting: Provide detailed daily production and breakdown reports. Update production graphs for analysis.
Job Purpose:
As an Explosives Manufacturing Operator, your primary role is to prepare the work area for start-up and packaging, operate and weigh cartridges, and conduct inspections, including shutdown activities.
Requirements:
Educational Background: Grade 12 qualification is essential.
Experience: Minimum of 3 months in Explosives manufacturing.
Certification & Membership: None required.
