Programme Details:

  • Duration: 12 months
  • Start Date: July 2023

Responsibilities:

Participating in the Sportscene Learnership Programme affords you the chance to obtain work experience in a fast-paced retail setting. Among the many things you’ll be responsible for are:

  • Helping buyers and sellers communicate about products
  • Keeping the store tidy and up to par in terms of visual merchandising
  • Controlling stock levels and managing inventories
  • Acquiring a deeper familiarity with various sporting goods manufacturers
  • Developing strong ties with clients through attentive service.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Grade 10 qualification is required (evidence of completion is necessary).
  • Sports fanatic with a deep interest in the retail industry
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Working successfully as a team and under pressure
  • Detail-orientedness and the capacity to follow directions
  • Basic computing knowledge
