Motus Toyota Bryanston is currently seeking a dedicated individual for the position of Light Duty Driver. This is a permanent role based in Bryanston, Gauteng, South Africa.
Job Responsibilities:
The Light Duty Driver will report to the Manager: Service and will be responsible for various driving duties, as well as assisting with additional tasks as required. Key responsibilities include:
-Collecting vehicles from other branches, customers, and outside suppliers.
-Delivering vehicles to outside suppliers, other branches, customers, and other designated destinations.
-Checking delivery vehicles for damage, defects, missing parts, spare wheel, and spanners, reporting findings to the Manager.
-Ensuring vehicles are locked and in roadworthy condition.
-Reporting accidents and traffic offenses to the Manager immediately.
-Performing overtime work when required.
-Taking vehicles for roadworthy inspections.
Assisting customers on the showroom floor.
Helping customers locate vehicles during the collection process.
Qualifications and Experience:
-Minimum of Grade 12.
-Valid driver’s license with PDP.
-Clear criminal record.
Skills and Personal Attributes:
- Customer and team orientation.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
