Alert Engine Parts is looking for a General Worker/Char to join the Port Elizabeth branch of Midas. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy working environment at all times.

Specific Role Responsibilities

• Serve tea/coffee according to scheduled time slots
• Ensure fridges are stocked with necessary items
• Prepare boardrooms for meetings
• Regularly clean kitchen equipment
• Wash cutlery and crockery promptly
• Keep employee workstations clean and tidy
• Maintain cleanliness in staff toilets and tea rooms
• Frequently change black refuse bags and ensure bins are always empty
• Keep the pantry/storeroom neat and tidy
• Ensure all meeting rooms are clean and tidy
• Monitor grocery usage and communicate stock levels
• Check and file grocery order forms
• Accurately distribute grocery allocations to departments
• File documentation (invoices/credit notes)
• Perform any reasonable ad hoc functions as requested

Qualifications and Experience

• Matric
• Previous experience in a corporate environment is advantageous
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Must be able to complete order forms
• Basic numerical skills required
• High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
