CTC – R 7,000 – R 13,000 BASIC PLUS COMMISSION

Objective and Responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell the total solution concept to all customers on your and your team’s client list.
  • Boost company sales in adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a professional image of yourself and the organization consistently.

Objectives and Responsibilities:

  • Promote new business through an organized and proactive prospecting system.
  • Develop a weekly planning list for effective and economical coverage of your territory.
  • Provide daily informative call reports.
  • Maintain an updated and competitive customer recording system.
  • Report any significant competitive activities in your territory.
  • Explore new product lines that may sell well in your area, considering additions to the company’s range.
  • Approach all situations with the organization’s perspective and welfare in mind.
  • Ensure that all orders are completed within 7 days or by the client’s required date.
  • Submit accurate and comprehensive weekly reports detailing activities, problems, and opportunities.
  • Complete and submit any opportunities and threats in the Opportunities and Threats book.
  • Submit orders before 15:00 for next day delivery.
  • Follow up on outstanding orders in dispatch.
  • Log and promptly address customer complaints, ensuring appropriate action is taken by the relevant department.
  • Attend weekly sales meetings.

Performance-based Assessments:

  • Quarterly assessment of the employee’s sales performance by the Sales Manager.
  • Achieve the sales target set by management and agreed upon by the employee.
  • Failure to reach the quarterly target for two consecutive quarters may be grounds for dismissal.

General:

  • Punctuality is essential.
  • Take responsibility for the performance of duties.
  • Organize and prioritize work effectively.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and co-workers.
  • Provide superior service to clients.
  • Assist in maintaining a neat and tidy office appearance.

Teamwork:

  • Assist management with any reasonable requests.
  • Limit overtime.
