Job Description:

A Transport Learnership is being provided by Tych Business Solutions to persons who are interested in enhancing their driving and transportation skills. This learnership program is intended to provide participants with in-depth training as well as hands-on experience in the field of transportation operations. As a result, participants will be better equipped to launch a successful career in the transportation sector.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in a structured learnership program aimed at developing driving and transportation skills.
• Complete theoretical and practical training sessions under the guidance of experienced professionals.
• Learn and adhere to all relevant transport regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Safely operate company vehicles while transporting goods and passengers.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and routine maintenance checks.
• Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including mileage logs and delivery schedules.
• Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients and passengers.
• Follow all safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of all passengers, employees, and members of the public.
• Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional growth within the transport industry.

Requirements:

• Minimum of Grade 10 education (or equivalent).
• Valid driver’s license (Code B) or a willingness to obtain one during the learnership program.
• Clear criminal record.
• Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents.
• Must have an eye test certificate.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and road safety regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and able to handle the physical demands of the role.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to meeting deadlines.
